Reviews can be written by anyone. Building permits cannot. The Permit-Verified badge puts your public permit record, real permitted jobs on file with local building departments, right on your website, where homeowners are deciding whether to call you.
The number is your business's real permit count and updates automatically as new permits land on your record. Clicking the badge takes homeowners to your Proven Pros profile, where they can see the work behind the number.
Not comfortable touching your website? That is normal. Most contractors have someone who handles it, so send them the section below.

Hi, this contractor has a verified profile on Proven Pros (provenpros.co), a directory built from public building-permit records. They would like their Permit-Verified badge added to their website.
The badge is a small SVG image wrapped in a normal link to their profile. The exact snippet is in the email they forwarded you, or they can copy it while signed in at provenpros.co/pro. It looks like this:
<a href="https://provenpros.co/contractor/{state}/{city}/{business}" target="_blank" rel="noopener">
<img src="https://provenpros.co/badge/{state}/{city}/{business}.svg" alt="Permit-Verified by Proven Pros" height="28" />
</a>Paste it where the site's other trust marks live (footer, header, or an "about" section). It is a static image plus a link: no script, no tracking, nothing to maintain. The permit count in the image updates on its own.
Reply to any email from us with your website address and we will point you in the right direction, or use the contact page. If you have not claimed your profile yet, start at provenpros.co/pro by searching your business name.
