Terms of Service

Last updated: June 24, 2026

These terms govern your use of Proven Pros, owned and operated by HENCO VENTURES LLC. By using provenpros.co you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What Proven Pros is

Proven Pros is a directory that turns public building-permit records into a track record for contractors. It is an informational tool. It is not a referral service, and we are not a party to any agreement you make with a contractor.

No endorsement and no guarantee

We do not vet, screen, license, or recommend any contractor. A profile on Proven Pros is not an endorsement. Permit records show what was filed with a building department, which is useful context but not a guarantee of quality, licensing, insurance, or current standing. You are responsible for doing your own checks before hiring anyone.

The data is provided as is

The permit data comes from public records that can be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate, and names do not always match a business cleanly. We keep our matching conservative on purpose, but we make no warranty that any figure or profile is complete or correct. The service and all content are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind.

Contractor profiles and claims

If you claim or list a business, you confirm you are authorized to represent it and that the details you add are accurate. You are responsible for the content you add. We may edit, remove, or refuse a profile or claim that appears inaccurate, misleading, or in violation of these terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site unlawfully, scrape or bulk-copy it, interfere with its operation, attempt to access it in unauthorized ways, or use it to harass any business or person. The contractor records are drawn from public data, but the site itself, its design, and its compiled presentation belong to us.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Proven Pros and HENCO VENTURES LLC are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decision you make based on information on the site, including who you choose to hire.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
