LICENSED PA ENGINEER LETTER
A PA Licensed Engineer letter is required for a property that is not OWNER OCCUPIED/PRIMARY RESIDENCE OR OWNED BY AN LLC. The letter must state the DATE that the Licensed PA Engineer Inspected the property and provide a *Structural Evaluation* and *Confirmation Statement* that NO Structural Work is Included. The letter must DETAIL the scope and locations of ALL work proposed. The letter must state that NO alterations, of any kind, to the basement are proposed. Work in the basement is not part of the EZ Alt permit unless the basement is an existing habitable space with code compliant ceiling heights and means of egress. Photographs and a signed statement from the owner affirming compliance must be submitted with the application. Please submit the Engineers Letter to the application documents tab. It must be labeled Miscellaneous Documents (as requested by L&I). You may also submit plans for a standard review instead of an engineer report showing full scope of alterations.
