EPC - Verizon Wireless is proposing to modify an existing wireless telecommunications facility at 770 L Street. The existing facility, located on the roof of a commercial building, features three (3) sectors of panel antennas. Associated equipment cabinets are located on a platform on the rooftop of the building. Existing antennas are mounted at a tip height of 180’-10” and the proposed tip height of the antennas will increase by 1’-10” to 182’-8”. Proposed antennas will be placed in the same location as existing antennas and utilize existing concealment elements. Proposed antennas and associated equipment will either be painted, or wrapped in 3M RF transparent film, colored to match the existing building. This facility was originally approved on May 18th, 2018, through Site Plan and Design Review No. DR13-240. The proposed site consists of the following:
• Removal of six (6) 6’-0” panel antennas
• Removal of nine (9) remote radio units
• Removal of two (2) equipment cabinets
• Installation of four (4) C-band antennas
• Installation of one (1) 3’-0” masting antenna
