After meeting with county inspectors at the site on Friday, July 12th, 2024, we are concentrating the accessibility upgrades at the accessible parking stalls and adding a pedestrian curb ramp (previously taken out during construction before seeing unfeasibility of path of travel to public way). Existing parking lot sits on a steep area of the site, getting all the accessibility upgrades to work would go beyond the 20% of the total project budget. As discussed with inspectors, we can concentrate the 20% at the existing accessible parking spaces and the pedestrian curb ramp. Solution is to level the existing sloping parking area by building up the asphalt, and then tapering it down to blend in with the existing asphalt driveway.
